The OPskins scam? Help!

Hey Bois today someone asked me to put something up on OPskins to see if it was marketable. It was an unusual, and I'm pretty sure they are always marketable. I didn't trust him, so I came to you guys. Think it's legit?

There's probably plenty of posts here about OPskins, and it's pretty obvious that giving an unusual somewhere for free to check it is going to be a scam.

You can even tell if an item is marketable by looking at it in your Steam inventory, so the scam shouldn't even work on anyone who knows what they're doing.

Wait wait wait, he told me to list it for a lot of money so no one would buy it. Does this mean it would be gone from my backpack forever and never get sold?

100% not legit. Watch some trade scam videos if you had trouble deciding this was legit or not.

I do not use OPSkins cuz of scam methods but you probably can cancel and edit ur money amount needed for the item.

Its an old scam. They send an offer for your unusual from a fake opskins bot. Once you accept it your unusual is gone forever. Also if they tell you to verify items with an "admin middleman" its a scam too. Watch my artwork if you want.

I'm honestly shocked at how many people fall for this or think it could be legitemate.

2 people tried to scam me yesterday with that OPskins thing, and 1 before 2 days which was an indian skype call
