How long do Marketplace.tf reviews take?

First time (finally!) buying an item on markteplace.tf, was just wondering how long it takes?
The item that I bought is roughly $200 so I'm not sure if price determines the outcome of how long it takes or not.

Also this DOES mean that the purchase has gone through and the money has been sent, right?
I've heard good things about marketplace so I'm just making sure that if I've gotten to this point, I'll get the hat. I just need to wait for someone to review it?

It normally takes a couple of hours and the maximum would be a day of waiting. Just be patient and you'll receive it. (Although you should have tried to buy something cheaper first before buying a $200 item.)

If it's your first time buying then it will take a few hours, they have to check your info.
Once you start buying things from them they'll send them after a few mins.

Don't worry tho as you will get your items.

Just in case your review takes more than an hour. So you do not need to worry about your item

I know this is an old thread but I bought about 12 keys almost an hour ago now, nothing has come back... why must marketplace.tf do this

yeah , old thread but i've waited like 12 hours from when i bought it at 10 am and yeah its still under "review" evenj though i bet they just have to click on OK and my review is done but whatever dont understand why do i gotta wait even longer

Bruh how did this old ass thread get a comment? Haha but anyway just wait I forgot how long it took but a day or maybe two days is the max. I think I got them when I woke up the next day.

Yeah i got lucky and i got it under 12 hours and they gave me it in 11 hours and 40 minutes , but why i was so mad cause i saw comments saying that they waited a month and i was a bit annoyed just for a simple trade but i got it so it usually takes like over 8 hours if anyone's ever gonna go to this thread anymore

for anyone who faces this same issue in the future:

Most of the sites that accept payments in the internet are regulated by law. And due to applicable legislation of different countries, different compliance checks have to be performed in order to proceed with your payment. This is not the matter of just pressing the "OK" button. There's much more behind this all, and both to protect themselves and their customers, they have to review some transactions manually when they fall off the automated risk matrix. In other words, this is absolutely OK, please don't be mad and just wait. MPTF will deliver your keys or whatever you bought there as soon as they make sure you're not financing terrorism, laundering the money, using someone else's card etc etc

the funds were definitely dirty if they had to wait for a month
