Untradable Killstreak Kit?

I want to craft a specialized killstreak kit for my Shooting Star so I had to buy a random killstreak weapon on the market (a revolver) to craft it but the revolver is not tradable for a week. Does using the revolver to craft my Killstreak Kit will make the Killstreak Kit untradable forever or just for a week ? The Killstreak Kit Fabricator itself is untradable for 1 week too

when using an item in crafting, the crafted item will take on the properties of any and all used materials.

so if one of your items has a 1-week cooldown on it, the resulting item will also hold a cooldown.

i bought a ks kit (already done) for my aussie smg on a trade website, I believe it was scrap.tf. and when i used it, it made it untradable and now I can't trade or market it. I took out the ks effect and it is still not working pls help

What if I used an item that was permanently untradable to create the killstreak? For me, I needed 2 specialized killstreak weapons to create a professional killstreak shotgun kit, and I used an untradable spy cicle and an untradable direct hit, both from the Christmas stocking. But when I applied it to my shotgun it says tradable after a week, and I was hoping it would be permanently untradable.

when you buy unique steam market items, they become temporarily uncraftable now.
