Sniper Tip: zoom_sensitivity_ratio

This following tip has helped my aim on sniper A LOT recently, both tracking and flicking.
The console command you use (unless you use the default FOV) is zoom_sensitivity_ratio 0.83333. Now let me explain it:

The game's default setting of the command is 1.0. However, this only compensates for the default FOV setting, 70. But presumably, any player with more than 20 hours has set their FOV to 90, the highest value.

Assume you have FOV 90 and the game's default zoom sensitivity. Now you move your mouse across your mouse pad 3 cm, and it moves a certain distance in-game. After you reset, scope in, then move 3 cm, it will move a different distance in-game. Setting the value to 0.83333 compensates for the higher-than-default FOV, and makes the distance your crosshair moves the same scoped and unscoped. This will make your mouse movement more consistent if you play other classes like scout.

But remember, no setting is as good as something you do great with. Hopefully, this tip can help you as much as it helped me. In conclusion, I apologize if this is common knowledge and a waste of a thread. Gl;hf and tell me about your sickest headshots!

No, just for sniper. If it was misleading, I meant that if you already have good aim with scout or other hitscan classes, your aim will be more consistent with the command.

If it doesn't suit you, you can always change back to the default value, 1.0

It always felt like the sens is incorrect, but I thought it was just me trying to find an excuse. It always felt kinda faster than normal when I was flicking
