They can, only if they recieve an item from a p2p,through trading.

At hours 800, I was still F2P. I traded and got up to 1.5 keys. You can still trade, but you have to trade items that you did not aquire by yourself. You have to trade up from others items.

Unless you get metals from someone who is premium, metals you craft aren't tradeable. So no.
Im f2p, but i used my other game items to get a key, which i used to get hats and stranges, which im using to get money to get premium in tf2.
All you need to do is have a game where u dont need money to stockpile stuff.

If you dont have mobile authent, you have a 15 day trade hold, but can still trade, just not with bots.

You can trade when F2P. I did. You need tradable items from premium players though, which I had.
