Team Fortress 2
Stock Sniper or Bazaar Bargain? (for Sniper)
I recently got the Bazaar Bargain, and I heard that it's really good. However, is it better than Stock?

the bargain is better if you can consistently hit headshots

stock is good for most interactions and situations.

Bargain is useful for sniper V sniper and can be used for push repellent if they have a heavy-medic combo

bargain is a straight upgrade after 2 heads, so up to you

Choose what you want, but I'll always use the Huntsman

That’s still a bit of work though. :dead_pc:

Bazaar Bargain is viable sidegrade but you must remember that if there are too many enemy snipers/flankers or you aren't that good at headshotting, it won't do in your favor.

If you can farm the team then Bargain is better. Otherwise use stock.

If you can consistently land headshots, use the bargain. Its a decent sidegrade, but stock is good

stock always

It's a direct upgrade. Why? Simple, an uncharged headshot can kill 5 out of the 9 classes in the game. A half charged headshot can kill all the classes in the game. And a fully charged headshot can only be countered by full overheal with damage resistances... on the heavy. Starting out with 50% charge time is basically not a deficit. Valve seems idiotic when designing rifles, since they constantly seem to think you should fully charge all your shots. Machina: Extra damage on fully charged shots; Classic: Can only headshot when fully charged; etc. The only thing about the Bargain is that you can get heads from each headshot. Each head increases your charge time by 25%. Two headshots and you're back to stock charge rate. Given that more than half the classes can die to any headshot at all, it's not difficult to get two headshots. Beyond that, you can stack up to eight heads, a point at which you barely have to wait to be charged enough to kill the higher health classes. Eight heads on the Bazaar Bargain gives you a 250% charge rate.

I just use stock, im not good enough to hit the headshots to get the faster charge.
It's really OP after 4 hs kills, but the problem is that sometimes players just refuses to die, and doing lots of hs you still haven't farm enough.

Also, even if you already became one-shot bodyshot machine, you'll die sooner or later (to someone who got triggered, picked spy and traded up their life on yours for satisfaction).

So when you just start out again, you need a loooot of time to charge your shot and take down some significant target, like, most commonly, overhraled heavy, or jumping like rabbit on drugs medic, who's about to use kritz and you need 100% guarantee to kill him, by hs or bs.

-Bazaar Bargain
Pros: If you are good with headshotting, you should able to bodyshot 150 damage in a matter of second.
Cons: Require to be good
-Stock
Pros: None
Cons: None
Just use Machina to bodyshot B)
Bazaar Bargains only really if you have great aim for hitting headshots.
