Silencing F2P players

I'm pretty sure you all know the bot problem by now, you've probably also heard about the new update Valve made. Despite that, the bots still found their way into matches and still ruin everyone's day. That's not surprising to me considering whoever made them probably expected that. However, I'm going to talk about an issue no one's that I saw said about yet.

I've been around TF2 since 2017, and I've been a F2P forever. So, when Valve's new update came around and silenced any free accounts, a lot of new players(not hackers) suffered. It just muted us from using chat(aside from party chat) and there's no way to prove that we're not hackers. I feel like that some of us should be able to talk again in chat so that we can just talk with the other team or talk about problems in our team chat. This might make me sound like an absolute wussy but I would appreciate it if Valve would maybe allow F2P players to talk again. But then, what about the hackers? Well, I'm not a programmer nor I don't know how hard it is to program another code in an already existing code without bugging the game, but I would like a program that would trigger whenever a bot sees a racist comment and would run through the player's history. Stuff like how long has he been in the game, is the profile an alternate account, etc.

In conclusion, I really hope that Valve can let us speak again and hopefully I didn't sound too much like 3 year old.

Valve should make it so newly-created accs shouldn't able to speak not accs that have 1k hours or 500 hours

spend 2.50 on a key perhaps ? Otherwise it's a sacrifice most people are willing to make, it's not like typing ♥♥♥♥ in the chat is necessary for gameplay anyway

and then sell it on steam market for $2.2 like less then $0.5 would really burn your wallet. So far it works. I met aimbots only like 3 times. In game everyone is nice.

its a necessary evil, yes its awful that F2P players cant chat now, but stopping the bots is way more of a priority. I know that most people play this game BECAUSE its free, but if you play this game for more than 100 hours, there is no reason you shouldnt have bought something already, the game is worth $20 at least

alot of people are forgetting that now bots can copy F2P users and there is no way now for them to shout out there not the imposter. Not only that but from what i heard they can no longer kick...

The game, as it is right now with all the bots, is worth between $10.00 and $15.00 U.S. Buy two crate keys from the Mann Co. Store in the game and dump them on the community market when the trade hold on them lifts to earn back most of what you spent to unlock text chat and TF2 Premium, it'll solve your problem easy enough.

the problem comes in where right now it doesent even seem worth it cuss casual is unplayable and the community is as toxic as a swamp next to a nuclear reactor

You do have a point, old accounts shouldn't be forced into silence. I think the idea of newly created accounts would work a lot better, but alas, bot accounts are also F2P, so I'm guessing they mitigated the problem completely.

Now we have to wait if they can make the difference between legit accounts or bots.

im a f2p and im kinda sad they muted all f2p ik because its to remove bot spam or somesort but at least make it if ur bought other stuff thats not on the game or spend enough time on the game to chat at least

Ive had my Steam account since the very first day Steam was forced onto the HL/CS/TF/DoD players. Ive owned several orange boxes, ive spent hundreds of dollars on Steam.
How about Valve you FIX the anticheat system or maybe LET PEOPLE REPORT BOTS, instead of breaking one of the very few games from Valve people actually still play.

Okay i cant say anything about it.I was playing 2fort 3 hours ago.1 medic and heavy was entered to INT room and i cant write a med with hoovy has entered to INT room.My team was busy with fighting while they're entered.Soo we lost because i cant type.They're mess with me about 2 minutes.And then i played Dustbowl about 2 hours ago.1 spy was spawn camping and i cant tell to anyone until 5 of us died because of him.So we cant even give information about the game.We cant even swair them because they're playing sucks.Thats terrible.
