How about giving demoman a shotgun.

It would replace the sticky bomb launcher, and work like for any other class. You could also use the reserve shooter. Doing so would widen the amount of playstyles for demo. What do you think?

The Stickybomb Launcher certainly has higher damage output than a Shtogun, but currently Demoman is useless against explosive VAC Ubers (since almost nobody would rush in with melee and risk death against a pocket). And it would give more way for people to rely more on their Grenade Launcher / whatever else.

Actually, demoman was meant to not have any hitscan (instant damage) weapon of a kind. Its his gimmick.

So, no, no shotgun for him. It will break the main reason the class exists.

It was a Grenade Shotgun all along. Demoman simply wanted to know how it felt to have a shotgun in his arms.
