Professional recipes requires specialized killstreak weapons, so it's a hit-n-miss depending which fabricator you are trying to turn into a kit.
Do note, don't be fooled by fabricator's looks as some of them have a lot of parts required to craft into kit even though it's just the same tier, thus hindering your potential profit from your investment.
So investing in making profit from killstreak kits tends to be a hit and miss especially the ones that are highly demanded since their fabricators are expensive as well.
Alternatively, you can try to invest in some mvm tickets and complete Operation Two Cities for a guaranteed killstreak kit from tour completion and get lucky enough to get a fabricator drop.
