Developer console doesn't open anymore.
Im using -console as launch option because opening the console via keybind never worked for a lot of people including myself.

I didn't really have a problem with that untill the update hit, because now, the console doesn't show up in the main menu anymore unless you join a server, and even then i can't interact with it at all..

Does anyone have a solution for that?
Because it really sucks if you have to restart the game everytime something goes wrong,
like the hud getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up or movement binds getting stuck...

mine still open, just enable it at options then advanced (not advanced options)

tick on the box "enable developer console"

Did you read that?

I cant open the console. I never could.
It doesnt work like that for a lot of people.
It has been like that for over 10 years, starting in counter strike...
Valve never cared to fix that.

So i guess you are also using -console?

yes, -console in launch options, and then enabled under the advanced options in controls, it opens... but it's like there is an invisible square over it that blocks interaction.

mind if I join the club? Same thing for me as Valve bind the console key to a english USA exclusive key that doesn,t appear on my billingual keyboard. So yeah... I can't even set party chat because of this mess. Not like Valve care anyway

Yes thats exactly what i was talking about, i also found an easy "solution" set your keybord to english... its not a good solution but it works.
Im pretty sure i did that before but i hated the layout so i instead went with -console insted..
guess ill have to change keyboard language again..
