Can't Download Update - Installing, Verifying Loop
Hope you guys are enjoying the update, but i cant give any impressions myself. I just cant dowload the update nor the game itself. i download it, gets to 100% no problem, but then it gets stuck in a loop of the game installing and verifying itself forever.

Sometimes the 'ready to launch in..' counter goes nuts, starts increasing, and in a couple of minutes it gets to 'more than a year'. Sometimes, after that, I get an error mesage, saying the game files are corrupted.

'An error ocurred while updating team fortress 2 (corrupt content files)'. It gives me a file path (or how is it called?), that ends in 'steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2/tf/tf2_textures_071_vpk'. I checked in those files, and the tf2_textures_071_vpk file doesnt exist.

It gives me a ling to a support page, wich didnt help, none of the solutions resolved my problem. Besides those suggestions, i also tried reinstalling the game, restarting the update, messing with the antivirus, firewall, but I dont have any clue what do to with the two (antivirus, firewall), and if theres something blocking a download.. Doesnt seem like anyone has a similar problem, so cant realy get any other help.

Thank you to anyone who wishes to help, realy aprechiated :)

Tried that already, doing it the second time just insta-completes the process, clearly not doing anything...

Content Servers

Steam uses content servers that are located all over the world. Steam attempts to select the best content server based on your location. If Steam downloads are going slower than expected, please double check your current download region:

Start Steam
Go to Steam > Settings > Downloads tab
Under Download region, select the region that you are in or that is closest to you.
You can also try various regions near your location to see if a better connection is available.
