Team Fortress 2
Graphical Error: White Squares (POTENTIAL PHOTO-SENSITIVITY DANGER)
Recently, as of the newest update, I've been noticing strange white boxes starting to scroll across the screen, while I walk around a map. This usually starts to occur an hour or two into playing, tough the time is variable and inconsistent

Here's a collection of examples[imgur.com]
(Beware the usual TF2 chat naughtiness)

From what I can tell, they seem to be tied to points on the map (Not just Brazil) and when you walk over that spot, these white boxes appear, scroll upward rapidly, and vanish. Things like people walking through the screen, or shots being fired, or other particle effects going off seem to cause them to flicker.

As someone with photo-sensitivity, this is really concerning. As soon as this starts to happen, the screen is flooded with little white flashing squares, and I become incredibly nauseous, having to quit out soon after. From what I've heard across a couple servers, I'm not the only one this is happening to, and I fear or someone with more image sensitivity than myself.

Is there any known way of fixing or getting rid of this? I've tried verifying cache, and reinstalling twice. I've even tampered with the graphical settings, and changed the DXplayer to 9.0 to see if that'll fix it. So far I've gotten nothing. If there is no known way to fix this, then consider this a bug report, seeing as its liable to cause seizures.

This.

I've seen something like this. Might be to do with invalid particle names that have wireframe enabled.

Try switching to DX92, DX95 and DX98.
