Maybe they will give you an unusual.
Literally every time I've played against a team with a hacker, they've never kicked him, but now that I have a way to have a bit of fun at other's expense suddenly everyone has a perfect moral compas and wants to do some kicking.
Christ dude.
It's just blowing my mind that hackers almost never get kicked, but people using what the game gives them? Nah ♥♥♥♥♥♥ kick them out they're awful people. But hackers are cool, they can stay.
It's much harder to tell if someone is hacking. They could just really be good at the game. Meanwhile, no amount of skill can explain a hoovy suddenly having 500 billion hp.
I typically don't really care about hackers, probably because I'm so used to them not getting kicked that once one is in a game I just stop caring about that round, I just think it's weird that people would be more up in arms about people using exploits, something legitimate that's in the game and requires no external cheating, than people who hack, using third party software to manipulate the game.
They stopped giving out unusuals a couple years ago for bugs. It's also only for Economy related bugs they gave out unusuals.
Now they give out the Finder's Fee: https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Finder%27s_Fee
