Did they just buff Pyro?..
Ever since the Jungle Inferno update, Pyro seems way more powerful than he was before. Did they buff him? He melts every character in under half a second, with little to no time to escape. (Other than the Heavy but even he dies in about a second or two.)

Thank you for reading, any answer is appreciated.

He did get buffed in damage and range, and it's a good thing since he's actually not bad anymore.

His airblast and flames got fixed, which is kinda a buff.

Actually looks like he has same damage and range. It least damage is pretty same, for example heavy dies in the same time as before.

It's easy to avoid a Pyro by not going into him and his range, especially as Scout. When you're out of his range, shoot him.

The range got increased since the flames now actually come out of his flamethrower nozzle compared to the old "fire from face" thing/bug.
Now that you can actually track enemies easily, and damage falloff is removed I think, you can melt peeps in pubs.

Well, damage still suck. DF damage is pretty good if you nave no misses, but flamethrowers still bad.

You cant really buff flamethrower without making it basically broken. You get no self damage aswell, and its now good to track peeps with, aswell as no flame mojo anymore.

Rly? So, why heavy with 450 dps (compare to pyro's 150) in close range (and possibility to deal damage in mid range) isnt broken?

Pyro's downsides were lack of consistenclies, which were fixed in the Jungle update.

Also, I think that TF2 Team worked on botht eh Pyro and Heavy update at the same time but only released 1.

Nope, since he gets outdone by good players. Like Pyro.
But he also loses mobility, and has to rev down and only gains the 100% damage after 1 second.

And he also have 300 hp, And hitscan. And he is not even only close combat class.
