How to complete the bonus Thermal Thruster goals
- "Extinguish a teammate with the Thermal Thruster"
- "Blast enemies with the Thermal Thruster"

Figured it out guys! It all has to do with taking off near people.

- Take off near burning teammates, and the thrust will put them out.
- Take off near enemies, and they will be pushed away a little bit.

Hey, I was actually wrong on my first assumption. It's not landing near enemies that counts, it's taking off next to them. I was confused because my first few attempts that counted, I took off and landed next to people - wasn't sure which one counted.

I updated the original post to reflect this. Good luck! :)

Does take off mean doing the jump thing before going or aiming at them when you take off( a.k.a aiming at them with the TT)

Taking off? Does it mean changing weapon? ot do you mean to jumping away?

I just mean you need to be standing next to an enemy when you activate a charge from your Jetpack. I was able to accomplish this by standing next to enemies, then launching away from them. So, trying to land on them after the thrust doesn't matter at all for this quest.

Oh my god, thank you! I was so confused when I saw the bonus text. Now I actually have a chance at getting the Hot Hand.

This isn't working for me, and the item it self says "Push enemies back when you land". I hate this game so much right now

If you have friend ask them go Soldier Mangler & set them self on fire you know the rest

In this case its more helpful than harmful to comment on this since there's likely still people that have to do these contracts!
