Bots now doxxing people in chat

Has this happened to anyone else? I was on a game of Frontier in casual and bots started spamming IPs and irl addresses of players, and stuff like "Hi, my name is [player] I'm a [age] year old man!". This is unsettling as hell. I think it was either a pazer bot or a George Floyd bot that was doing this.

I don't know. But these hackers are ruining our days we spent playing together because keep spamming chats about black people, pedophile facts and child porn to confuse us.

probably all fake, i doubt even if they could look me up on steam it'd be accurate seeing as i always choose a ridiculous year like born in 1920 or something.

theyre just trying to scare us.

now if they ever got credit card info from steam somehow, still woudlnt be able to use it, but then they'd get fbi on them for it.

IP address is nothing really, its just what your computers connecting to the internet as.

It can be used to narrow down your location, not to the exact address but you could probably get somebody's town or maybe even street from it.
