How? I don't know.

The rest, well I guess Medic survived another 50 years, and everyone else probably of natural deaths. Except Soldier and Demoman.
They probably went out in fireworks.

Some lore-addict once told me that hlit was the bombonomicon disguised as god, he revived scout since he likes the mercenaries or something among those lines, i dont have any sauce to prove it though but if youre willing to investigate it would be neat

I really prefer the god version of the story, but i am not quite sure if that dude was right with the bombonomicon thing

The Bombonomicon hates the scout considering what his brother did to the author of it. And everyone who's not a normal human bean despises the medic considering who he really is.
