Report a translation problem
I was about to ask, why would they be shared into the server? I was under the assumption they were client only.
Before valve servers had sv_pure disabled people could use mods normally which was good but also bad cause modders easily took an advantage of that to make invisible wall textures and whatnot.
So their best course of action is to block almost everything and leaving you with nice crashes, missing textures or distorted sounds.
This especially sucks for people that don't do those things and just want the game to look a little different or more optimized but who cares for the little guy am i right?
