Team Fortress 2
Why does it takes so long to find a competitive match ?
I think i already know the answer to this question but i'll ask it anyway: why nobody plays competitive ? Is it because there's way too many F2P compared to P2P players or because competitive is broken in terms of balance and noone wants to bother with it ?

it takes a long time to find a match because there are very few players looking to play. Hard to fill a 12 person server when there arent 12 people looking. Valve competitive isnt really tf2 competitive. Its just 6vs6. You get what you see in a regular 12v12 match just half the people. Its not the experience real competitive players want or are looking for.
There has always been a real competitive scene thats run independently of valve. Im sure if you are interested a simple google search will lead you to the different sites that host comp pubs and scrims and leagues.

just 6v6 ranked casual at this point with no incentive to play

CS:GO comp gets you items, TF2 gets you nothing.
