And its not just games. Ive watched some other channels focusing on specific fanbases and whatnot- the least information theres out there the more they speculate because views etc.
I don`t know him nor watched him for long so i don`t know his history- but in this particular case and in regards to tf2... ffs hes not saying anything different then what the community or anyone can notice is he? because even before i ever saw anything VNN one thing was clear to me- how Valve was keeping TF2 on ice. Heck i remenber hearing one of his rumours on the team size as surprisingly higher then what i expected, because i tought chances were no one were doing anything besides one intern doing some light management.
The real and bigger issues are Valve and Tf2 lets be real. A company not comunicating is bad. How they`ve been neglecting such a wonderfull game is the other problem. If one or heck a dozen youtubers come on this trail claiming the writing on the wall thats just consequence. If this leak fiasco blows on VNNs face there will be others. VNN or the guy isn`t the problem.
He even having views and being heard is a consequence- if all we have is radio silence any noise becomes louder and noticeable. Valve should take better care of Tf2, and besides tf2 redo their whole company culture towards comunication.
If anything that was one of the few places where i found some hope- because if we look at the comunity or other optics Tf2 seems worse then it is. Is when i look at charts, how many people actually play or he talking about some valve employee listing 16 team members at one point (where i tought it was abandoned) my perception came closer to reality.
And besides vnn ive saw elsewhere about valve and it adds up. I understand better today how different valve is in terms of culture, how the talent shift as they want and are needed, etc, etc, wich in turn makes more understandanble how valve is the way it is a whole (the alternative would be they were doing close to nothing, just sitting on passive income from the store- wich they aren`t). What part of any of that is wrong?
The other thing i don`t understand is what the hell you guys expect on channels around rumours. RUMOURS. I follow rumours around gaming and films, and to no surprise half the time they`re dead wrong. But thats rumours ffs. I don`t take any of those at face value as fact.
''The horror! A rumours channel speaks of rumours, only half are true! He is scum! Its a iluminati ploy against valve and tf2!'...
Also tone down on theories. It sounds like some crazy covid or no-vaccine theories out there. Youtubers doing drama for clicks and profit is very sound and real, but doing so on old news (the said leak is from 2018) and directly against your interests isn`t- because if Tf2 becomes damaged image wise Creators.tf would loose too wouldn`t it? If people weren`t playing tf2 becuase of the leak that would include creators... so this theory makes sense how? He profiting on tf2 players despair and need for anything new i understnd, but attacking tf2?
If we forget about the channel, we can just live on with our days
♥♥♥♥♥, please.
Now I'm not a fan of many TF2ubers out there , but I don't want to start naming and shaming here, because it wouldn't help. Many people just prefer to accept random facts by random influencers, instead of thinking for themselves.
