Why are there so many weebs and furries in this game?

I just realized that this game has alot more furries and weebs than other games like csgo, why is this so? Is it the art style or the fact it is free?

Because TF2 is a majorly appealing game thats ran since 2007.

Between the animal cosmetics, TF2 being prevalent in LOLRANDOM humor during the 2010s, and generally just being a popular game, it attracts a lot of fandom related people.

Because at one point years ago My Little Pony came out and a lot of the people who watched it played Team Fortress 2 then it started to spread like wild fire. I remember I was there.

The Gmod scene massively blew up TF2 as well, tons of animations went viral on Youtube of the game.

I see I never really watched there videos to much. Wonder if he made the my little pony thing even more popular.

But as for the normal Garrys mod thing they had all kinds of videos for Team Fortress 2. I was just mostly talking about the whole My Little Pony thing. I used to like watching those old Team Fortress 2 Gmod videos though.
