Disguise kit menu randomly not showing

Sometimes, when I select the disguise kit the spy holds it like normal but the menu disappears, and I'm forced to switch weapons to make it work properly. It doesn't bother me in the slightest because it rarely happens, but I'm curious: is it something I do that triggers this, or is it a random bug?

I read somewhere that if you use the Disguise Kit, Construction PDA or Destruction PDA, and you take damage, the screen disappears.

I can't remember if that's the issue.

Hmm, that's probably true. It happens in spawn though, during the "preparation" phase (or however it is called in English) when there's no way damage myself.

It's probably a minor glitch. I've had it happen before, and it's actually cool to see the PDAs when the menu isn't in the way.

In fact, I wanted to know how to make it happen. Spycrabbing would be 10 times better if I could spam voice commands (which I cannot do because pressing one of the numbers will disguise the spy)
