I need help with bots
I want to spawn some bots on a custom server, but it doesn't work. I open the console, type "sv_cheats 1", type "nav_generate" just in case, type "mp_teams_unbalance_limit 30", and type "tf_bot_add 1". It will always say something like "Dropped AmNot from server (Kicked from server)". I don't know where to go from here. I can't find anything on the internet to help me.

At least one player has to be connected for bots to be simulated.

Are you doing this through the server console, or in-game?

If you mean if my server is online for other people to connect to it, then no.

The option whether players outside your network can connect or not is not the question. Its whether if anyone is actually IN the game right now...

type in sv_cheats 1 then type in bot and repeat

Try typing in the console "tf_bot_join_after_player 0" before spawning them.

Try adding bots through the "tf_bot_quota" command.

Nothing happened. I typed it, then typed the tf_bot_add command and it kicked the bot from the server again

open up console, type in sv_cheats 1 then type bot in console
