Because people says that pyro mains are furry bastards, not including me i almost was a pyro main so i dont use that stereotypes, and if you like to use owo or uwu just use it anyway the ppl insutling you will get more annoyed if you just say owo or uwu each time theu call you a furry and it will see like you dont care

Some tips on how to avoid hate as a furry

1. Remove any content or text that might be associated with furries (hide identity)

2. Accept you'll be hated. I had to learn this the hard way. (INCOMING STORY) When I was rather young in the furry fandom I had gotten called a "furry b*tch f*ggot" in L4D2. I was really taken back (almost cried). Then I realized people either don't understand, or seek to troll furries because of their offended reactions.

3. Ignore anyone who teases/bullies you for being a furry

4. Don't openly say you are a furry or boast it to the world

5. (Only if you can control yourself) Talk back, but make sure it isn't swear words or unintelligent speak. Most people assume you'll lose it, as those who typically target furries, believe furries are mentally debilitated. Prove you aren't.

Take any of these strategies. So far I accept my stance on who I am. And I'm able to display higher levels of speech than my aggressor. Have a good day, and hope you'll encounter nice people.
