That probably would happen too, people that make these "oh if we protest surely they will cater to our demands" don't see the big picture that a company is bigger than several people they have full power to completely end support for their favorite product at the flick of a switch, its the same for video games and since TF2 already has a lack of attention as it is, one wrong move can change that lack of attention to TF2 being shutdown for good.
