Forgotten Weapons Part 5 - The Shahanshah
Yes, this series is back

The Shahanshah is not the top pick for Sniper mains. Not only are its stats bad, the other three melees are way superior choices

Question: What would you do to fix the Shahanshah?

I would give it speed on kill don't ask why but whenever I have to melee as sniper everyone charges at me

I guess its upside could help you to win some melee 1v1 fights if it didn't have damage penalty while above half hp but just removing it will make it direct upgrade and replacing it with other downside is quite difficult.

but meme lords make the game fun, and not make it full of tryhard asshats.

Change it so that Snipers have to be at or below 100 health to get the 25 damage bonus, and of course change the downside with it. :lunar2019piginablanket:

interestingly enough this weapon finds some use in mannpower, still needs a buff though

its fine but i'd make it deal extra minicrits when below like, 25% health (32hp)

essentially a 110 damage swing, kind of to compete with the ridiculously easy and powerful bushwacka combo

It's one of the many Sniper weapon mistakes, because it rewards the Sniper for being caught at close-range in a fight he should ideally be bad at by buffing his damage when at low HP.

I would probably replace it with a switch-speed buff, maybe work it so that it slightly increases up to 10%-20% faster as the Sniper gets closer to half-health or less

Anything that buffs the sword's damage, either directly with a damage buff, or indirectly with something like a swing-speed buff, is exactly not what to do
