I think it's because it doesn't acknowledge that it's painted in the item description.

This is actually a semi-common glitch that doesn’t usually add more than a key or so
I sold an Officer’s Ushanka with this glitch for 1.6 keys for reference, but it all depends on the buyer.

It had been painted with the old team spirit paint which was updated but instead of replacing the paint, the developers made a new team spirit and this one is now glitched and rare. The description does not state any paint name where there should be.

Woah even I didn't know this. I actually bought it from a bot at base price. I thought it was a steal. I guess it still was but I still didn't know that it was duped.
