How to counter heavy with his pocket medic?
So it's an obvious thing to ask but, I tried everything. Using pyro didn't work, since his airblast is too short for a range. Can someone tell me how? (Sorry for bad English)

Sniper, spy and engineer exist.

If you have a reliable team to distract, Sniper and Spy are great choices, secondly Backburner Pyro

Dragon fury can out damage an overhealed heavy if you have good jukes

Never engage alone, he practically fights 2v1 otherwise.

Direct counter is sniper, spy depends on his awareness but works too.

Never engage him on ground he favors, you want positional advantage against a heavy and strong weapons. If you are forced to engage (heavy defending) try to organize your own combo and if that doesnt help, kill everyone around him if possible. A heavy can only control limited space due to his lack of mobility, abuse this.

multiple sources of damage
trying to solo the highest health class with an active source of heals is a bad idea and relies entirely on the enemy's mistakes

demo has high enough burst damage to make it feasible to solo them when given proper positioning and ammo, but you're still far better off getting at least one other player to focusfire them to get a proper kill without risking yourself

the vast majority of players are far better off playing generalists and putting down consistent damage on the enemy team than trying to play situational support classes to target 1-2 people
leave spy/sniper to the capable spies/snipers who were already on the class for reasons unrelated to a specific problem heavy
engie is a bad heavy counterpick if your team is already lacking the frontline needed to hold him back
you're just setting yourself up to be walked over when he pushes through other teammates and gets a favorable position

A flare gun can be used with the dragon's fury as just a secondary option if you are unable to kill the heavy in time. A shotgun or scorch shot can work well with the weapon.

You're not going to do that alone with any consistency outside of sniper or the heavy being bad. He's using teamwork, so you should use your own.

Since everything else is already mentioned, demoman is a decent soft counter since his effective range is a little longer than most other classes in the game, and he can deal a ton of burst damage to a slow target.

Or just dont play pyro into a pocketed heavy and do something else as pyro until an opportunity presents itself.

Or just dont play Pyro LUL 4head

keep spamming sorch shots at the medic till he gets tired of being on fire 24/7, at least thats what works for me

Best thing you can do is disconnect if they are actual pockets, it will always be 2v1 and the lack of teamwork in casual just means they will steamroll the server.

Defeatist mindset in my opinion and a sure way to avoid getting better.

usually sniper. snipe the medic, and the heavy is significantly less powerful.
-if the medic is good, and is using the vac, this will likely not work.

use spy. attack from behind, go for the less-competent player first.
- if the HEAVY is good, this will likely not work.

use wranglerneer from far away. try to use knockback to prevent advancement.
-if the medic has the crossbow and is a sharpshooter, this will likely not work.

use a sticky demotrap to instantly kill 1 or both parties instantly.
-if the medic popped ubercharge, this will not work.

use a scout and some god-level manuvering to take out the medic or the heavy.
-if the heavy is revved, or if the medic is skilled in CQC, this will likely not work.

go soldier and pray you get a crocket on the medic.
-if you don't, this will likely not work.

MORAL: because the two teammates are working together, you need to work with a teammate as well.
-since no one ever helps you on pubs, this will likely not work.
