Going back to what you said the frontier justice is ABSOLUTELY meant to be an offensive weapon.
Sentries are meant to stall games and deny area. You destroy your only goal as engineer just so you can be a low health class with a 3 round shotgun with some Crits then you’re failing at your job.
Play at any level of play where players aren’t entirely brain dead and you’ll find that your sentry will get so few kills per round that cutting down your clip size by 3 isn’t worth the 1-2 Crits you may have and may land perfectly and put to good use.
It’s a direct downgrade
