Whats the point of the Rescue Ranger after the nerf?
I admit the RR was op before Jungle Inferno but now its pretty much useless other then MVM, 70% of the time you can just use your wrench and the only use for it is if you wanna move your buildings from a distance and if your far away from your sentry which is rare cuz in comp you are going to stay close to your sentry. How about a smaller metal supply and slower projectile speed instead of making it require metal to repair buildings? Then it will be balanced

It's useful for when you want to repair your buildings and don't want to expose yourself to enemy fire. It's still the best engineer primary when you actually have a reason for playing engineer over any other class.

Imagine the following scenerio, Almost all the enemy team nearly destroys all your sentry and takes almost all or all your metal to repair, when you are going to get more from an ammo box or the resupply the other ppl in the enemy team attack your nest so you use your RR to quickly repair the buildings because you cannot get back in time and you have barley and metal. (Before you mention the dispenser that is not how dispensers where intended to be used, there supposed to be by the frontlines where your team is attacking whild your defending the objective when medics and health kits are scarce)

If you're enemy is up to your sentry there is a high chance you're dispensor isn't going to be too far away from it due it having a high chance of being destroy if placed deeper into enemy lines putting you in a situation where the safest place to put a dispensor is nearby.

You’re using a direct downgrade from stock and questioning an item that’s better than stock in more situations

It's finally balanced and doesn't need any buffs nor nerfs.

Now the devs just have to nerf the wrangler and the class with have balance.

Its not a direct downgrade, I always used the Frontier Justice, Its not meant to be on attack, Its actually meant for Defense, cuz ur on defense, your defending the objective which the enemies are always trying to get 2, there is always this 1 scout on the team that keeps running to your sentry and expecting something to change, you get tons of kills and when the direct miss soilder, heavy and medic push in, you have 30 crits from that Scout and kill the enemy team, its not a direct downgrade not even close, you just got to flank and go up close for the crits to work. Long range are not what shotguns where supposed 2 do in the game.

Not all weapons are balanced for comp.

Remember that Tf2 is a game people play for fun?

Well even in pubs the Rescue Ranger was still balanced 1 person isn’t going to destroy the whole nest by themselves, RR or not, the nest is still going to get destroyed.

Going back to what you said the frontier justice is ABSOLUTELY meant to be an offensive weapon.

Sentries are meant to stall games and deny area. You destroy your only goal as engineer just so you can be a low health class with a 3 round shotgun with some Crits then you’re failing at your job.

Play at any level of play where players aren’t entirely brain dead and you’ll find that your sentry will get so few kills per round that cutting down your clip size by 3 isn’t worth the 1-2 Crits you may have and may land perfectly and put to good use.

It’s a direct downgrade
