How can I run TF2 on a Toaster?
Hello community
Long ago, Team Fortress 2 used to run perfectly on low spec machines but now, the gameplay is very slow, it stutters (lags/lag-spikes in terms of fps) a lot, it takes forever to load and crashes a lot.
I checked the Specs on 'canyourunit' and it says that it can run TF2 without any problems.
My PC specs and compability, according to systemrequirementslab.com (CanYouRunIt):

Recommended :info
You Have: Intel(R) HD Graphics 620

CPU
Minimum: 1.7 GHz Processor or better
You Have: 2.3 GHz

CPU Speed
Recommended 1.7 GHz
You Have: 2.3 GHz

RAM
Recommended: 1 GB
You Have: 4.0 GB

OS
Recommended: Windows® 7 (32/64-bit)
You Have: Windows 10

What exactly seems to be the real problem?
I asked my friends about it and they have no idea and tell me to invest on a new PC or GPU.
This is why I came here.

If in case there are no solutions, what are the LOWEST settings possible to make the game run smooth. I don't care if the graphics will look like Minecraft. I don't want any kind of mods, I want to keep the game as pure as it is.

Thanks
Floot.

Lomg story short, TF2 now requires more resources to run well, and low end computers dont cut it anymore.

All depends on what FPS you are okay with.

OP can almost certainly get 25-30 FPS. Probably not 60 though.
