Why isn't DeGroot Keep competitive?

Medieval is really fun and should be in competitive, especially DeGroot Keep.
I don't even play comp and I already know this should happen. Why hasn't it?

for the normal mode, perhaps. but demoknight and particularly huntsman require much more skill and 12v12 still won't be enough cumulative skill to work

Ngl though it would be fun as hell to have a community where we just plink around with melee in all it's glitchy, horrible, lovable glory. I mean hell that heavy boxing league is a thing.

There was Gette It Onne! Season 1. But looks like it wasn't very successful as there was nothing since then. Maps were really cool tho. Sadly nobody was casting it:
