help with black bars top and bottom of screen

hello i have 1080p monitor nad play this gmae at 1300x720 but get black bars how to fix?

you have to google up the manual for your monitor and figure out how to get it to stretch to fill the screen

or get rekt because it doesn't have that option

1920 as it is if its 1080p.its weird cuz other games i dont get black bars but this game i do

And whats your Aspect Ratio set to in-game?

You have to change the screen resolution in tf2's settings.

ok in tf2 under the resolution option there is Aspect Ratio. stet it to 16:10 if its there then check if 1080 is an option.

head to your graphics card control panel
somewhere there should be scaling options you can tweak
you'll want to switch to 'fill screen' or something of a similar name

if there's an option to choose between scaling on your gpu or on your monitor, you'll want to set that to your gpu

if that doesn't work, check your monitor settings and see if there's a control for scaling

i use 6:9 and yes 6:10 does "fix" the solution but i wanted to play it specifically at 1368x760

@slop unfortunately latest nvidia driver update forces you to make an acct if you want to make changes....

if you have a 1080p monitor and want to use fu**ing 760, then get rid of your 1080p monitor and get a 760p monitor.
so go to hell if you have a really good monitor and use settings thats way worse then your capability. I for one, would DIE for a 1080p moitor. and the res I have is 1366x768.

Just try different resolutions until it looks right

1080p monitors aren that expensive atleast where i live you can get a standard one for $100, maybe less on craigslist or shopping online
