No, higher fps = more inputs your pc can process

Capping your fps lets your hardware not work for unnecessary frame output.
If you have a 60hz monitor and hardware that lets you run the game above 60 most if not all of the time, I suggest capping your fps at 150:
fps_max 150
This makes sure you have at least two frames that can be displayed every refresh with some to spare, and you might even notice better responsiveness in your game.

But, if you have weak hardware, like if you're on a generic laptop, you should cap your fps at 75, so that your computer doesn't have to work unnecessarily. Again, this is for 60hz.
Also, there will be more input delay than uncapped or higher:
fps_max 75

Make sure to put these commands in your autoexec.cfg

yes. more consistent fps is more important than more fps in general

My fps are always above 60 but they aren't always above 75, should I leave it uncapped?
Btw add me if you want my account is limited so I can't do it myself lol
