base jumper nerf was stupid
change my mind
because spamming soldiers were fun to watch as they try to hit u with their "pro ks, strange market gardener"

Base jumper is fine now.
It was stupid that you could release your parachute multiple times while airborne.

Except it was broken on release.

The nerfs to it were entirely justified and fair.

But it's not fun anymore, at least they could give 1.5 second delay to deploy it again, in it's current state is garbage that makes taking fall damage more of a profit than losing offensive tools for more time in the sky or not taking fall damage that makes stealth impossible

But it still deserves a rework instead of making the tool useless, the base jumper isn't worthy unless just for the air strike, then it's garbage, in demo is useless

base jumper needs a medic bag
they nerfed the base jumper because people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and whined that they couldn't hit the soldier strafing in the air with their projectile weapons instead of actually using their brain and keep some heavies/ snipers on their team to kill them.
No seriously. Strafing in the air is awesome and can help you make some awesome plays, just like you landing all your direct hit shots- it takes skill. But the pros cried they could only shoot them with their 2 scouts instead of trying counterplay.
F for the basejumper.

The fact that you *needed* a counter and it hard countered 2 projectile classes was an issue

Imagine thinking that playing rock paper scissors by countering an unlock with an entire class constitutes deep, interesting and skillful play, and isn't totally linear and one-dimensional.

Except its not a hard counter. Soldier has shotgun, RESERVE shooter do hit em with minicrits. Although harder for demomen, they can still attempt to airburst them with stickies.
