Why there is no TF2 on Xbox One and PS4?
So, now that we have mouse and keyboard support for Xbox One and Fartnite proved it to be possible on PS4 too, my question is: Why is Valve so stupid NOT to port TF2 on Xbox One and PS4, since TF2 is a 12 years old game and it proved to be working on last generation's consoles and would have no problems whatsoever crossplaying with the PC version? I'm not talking about the OLD TF2, the one that got on consoles with the Orange Box. I'm talking about the CURRENT TF2, with hats and taunts and unlockable weapons.
Does Valve hate money?

Because I could be a 12 years old who has no PC, no Steam and can just play on his dad's Xbox One? And being a 12 years old I would be likely to shop for cosmetics, weapons, MvM pass, you name it. It's untapped market baby.

No, and that's why they focus more on Steam and less on porting to consoles that need Valve more than Valve needs them.

If this is about not being able to afford a decent PC to play on, I suggest selling your Xbox/PS4 for the funds if TF2 is that important to you

Look, if you think about TOB's TF2 as the current TF2, you should play more TF2. It has no unlockable weapons, no cosmetics, no maps except the original 6, the Engineer can't even pick up his darn buildings.

Dude, I'm not complaining. I run TF2 at 120 FPS. I'm complaining about Valve dooming TF2, less and less players play the game, having it on consoles would tap a market Valve does not think about and give the game some potential new players.

you can rocket jump, you just take a bit of damage

Yeah, that's the point. Do not consider the original port, I'm talking about porting THE CURRENT TF2 on consoles.
