I don't know.
If Valve hasn't got the brains to name a cast iron skillet something other than 'frying pan', I don't think we can use it as an example of us being skilled.
I didn't play class based games cuz i have a toaster, but I think havin 9 classes is better than 20
Outside of R6:S, there's really not much for shooters with a skill ceiling anywhere near what we see in TF2.
Not sure if sarcasm.
with that said, tf2 is probably harder to get into than most shooters simply because the advanced mechanics aren't easily taught and the competitive side of the game is vastly different compared to the casual side
We really are full of ourselves, aren't we?
Quake Champions makes TF2 feel like a kiddy pool, you sure you guys aren't just....not playing all that many other games?
I really wish it were. With the stale plate of PUGB, CoD, Fortnite, and BF, can one really say any of these games have any real level of complication that doesn't involve "Bullet goes into enemy's face"?
Let's face it, shooters aren't designed to be complicated anymore because they cater to the lowest common denominator.
Besides, one really cannot compare something like Advanced Rocket Jump mechanics to other shooters. It would be like comparing Halo to Madden XXYY, because both contain an element of strategy.
Q3A, UT's modern incarnations have much more dynamic rocket/explosive jumping...and firing...and just about everything.
TF2 is complex only for a game that still runs on the source engine.
