How Competitively Viable is The Holiday Punch?
It can be used to completely put uber charges to a standstill, how often is this actually used in comp? And how viable is it?

comp players shouldn't be standing anywhere near an enemy heavy lol
not as useful as gru/fos, doubt it'd be used much

very gimmicky and really has a low chance of working
you wipe at mid and they have 100% uber, you offclass on heavy with the holiday punch and somehow stun their med and shotgun them making them drop

realistically in a comp setting you would offclass to a sniper to equal the uber

I only ever see friendlies use it. What good player would let a Heavy get that close to them? He's slow af.

fun for pubs, bad in comp.

you can also help others get achievements by disabling players in combat, and leaving them to your teammates for the kill. the only thing that ruins this is cowards who use the k-bind to escape their demise.

mann up and accept that you got shrekt by the christmas heavy >:)

The only reason a holiday punch can work agaisnt an uber is if the uber pair see something of more value than you. Such as a medic or a sentry gun. Seeing as there's hardly ever an engineer anywhere, and heavy isn't all that good of a pocket, this is a rarity among rarities for it to actually work.
It's good when you're standing on that ledge in 2fort's courtyard and you ambush the sweaty Heavy + Medic combo but otherwise it's only good for LazyPurple servers

No way in hell is a medic in comp going to let a heavy sneak up oh him, especially since he’ll be surrounded on all sides by soldiers and heavies

It's not the medic being hit, its the pocket. Or at least should be.
