Your Screen Resolution for TF2?
I'm curious about FPS and how much your resolution affects it.

For me personally, my setup+1920x1080+config gives me about 80-150 FPS. But I'm curious how much difference do the other resolutions give. I know something like 2560x1080 not only ruins some TF2 UI elements, but I know it gives s**t FPS.

So what about you guys? What screen resolution do you guys play on? Is there any FPS boost or none if you changed resolutions? Just curious.

EDIT: So I did some resolution testing...

1920x1080 when I use it = ~60-150 FPS
1280x720 when I use it = ~70-210 FPS

Interesting. When I even tried using 4:3 resolutions, however, the FPS I'd get from 1280x720 would remain the same. This is including the config added.

1366x768 with mastercomfig low gives me ~250 fps.
1024x768 with mastercomfig low gives me ~350 fps.

just ran some benchmarks on this rig
i7-2600
gtx 1060
ddr3 1333
custom high-quality settings laid over a maxfps config
dx9
AO forced in nvidia control panel
benchmark1 from the tftv thread

1080p
2639 frames 17.947 seconds 147.05 fps ( 6.80 ms/f) 9.920 fps variability

4k
2639 frames 20.110 seconds 131.23 fps ( 7.62 ms/f) 6.447 fps variability

not that huge of a difference, pretty sure ram speed bottlenecks my frametimes too
res matters a lot more on igpus

I’d be happy to have over 100.

The amount of people on the server is what kills my FPS. Benchmarks don't include the single biggest factor.
1920x1080, and my framerate usually hovers around 200ish.
