Why is the TF2 community so connected with JoJo?

Probably because the community is in a small amount of players and if a TF2 content creator makes JoJo references it encourages the community to know JoJo aswell. No offense to anyone/anything that already knew JoJo before it got involved with TF2.

Could be because lots of TF2 players like anime and JoJo happens to be an anime associated with memes, kinda like TF2 (without the anime part obviously).
Or because people are bandwagoning after JoJo cosmetics were added in Competitive Update.

Both of which are very true, my problem is most TF2 players are "too cool" and they don't want to admit that they like JoJo, some, however are still very much embracing the two.

Yeah but nobody was hyped and everyone seemed so pessimistic and edgy, acting like "they are too cool for JoJo" and cringing to the people who point out the JoJo reference, which I find very hypocritical.
