Should I open my cases?

I counted 27 cases ranging from (Abomitable Cosmetic Case, Blue Moon Cases, Winter 2017 Cosmetic Cases) and I dont really know what to do with them. Should i sell them.. Open them.. Or what? I really dont want them to clog up my inv. so id like to atleast be able to do something with them without wasting spaces. My friend has told me they are scams and its a waste to buy keys for them but I dont really know what to do. Any reccomendations?

EDIT: I am on a trade hold (security stuff with my phone) so i cant trade anything. So really my only options are to open them or not..

You can either buy keys and open them to get rewards instead of having unopened cases just litter your inventory, or you can sell them on the Community Market to make a quick buck and get some cosmetics for like 3 cents.

Yeah but like would it be worth doing any of that?
I cant sell them at all to anyone so im kind of deciding wheather to waste my money for something that might give me absolutley nothing worth or waiting for my trade hold to pass so i can trade them or something

You might want to buy the keys, yes, but instead of opening these cases, you buy a backpack expander so you have enough space.

also if you are planning on opening all 27 cases you could just buy a pretty decant unusual with the keys, you do realise that right? mine is pretty nice and it was about that price give or take a couple keys.

Just delete them if you dont want them clogging up your inventory. They're worth ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and a key is like $2.50 / €2/ £1.80, and you'll probably only make about 30-60 Cent a case. The chances of getting something worth more than a key is incredibly slim

Yeah, i am kinda aiming towards getting all class unusuals. So i should just not waste my money and buy it straight off the market once i get a chance.. Am i correct?

honestly most low tier all class unusuals are pretty crappy, i would recomend getting a nice hat for your main, but im not gonna stop you from getting a nuts n bolts all class. and no backpack.tf does not accept money for that you would want marketplace.tf but still backpack.tf is really good. oh and one more thing if you do get an unusual think about how nice the hat is before the effect, i mean sure morning glory is really nice but it isnt nice when its on a pile of scrap metal. i find its much better to settle for a pretty nice hat with a decant effect rather than an amazing hat with a bad effect or a bad hat with an amazing effect. but why listen to me? im just a dumb guy on the internet you do you.

So could i get a even more expensive item if i were to be selling all my unusuals? They all to me are pretty ugly, i wouldent mind selling them off for a really good all class unusual. Would that be possible?
