auto tabbing out

ever time i start up tf2 ever 5 minutes it auto tabs out and i dont know why HeLp?

and yes i did try other games and they dont auto tab out

well i have this bug too its anoying af i ouldn't fix it exept window mod and you know it unplayable in tf2

I was just about to post about this, like it acts as if you alt tabbed and then you can open the game fine again, but it keeps doing it anyway? Hopefully someone knows why aa

did it just start doing it one day,or did you download something and then it started doing it?

it just started doing it, i never downloaded any mods or anything for tf2

I have deleted all my tf2 files but it's not working. ihave try other net still nothing. I haven't downloaded an mods or huds.

Try to go in-game and select windowed mode and then fullscreen mode

Yea. go select window mode and play like 10-15 minutes and then full screen.
It have worked now for 20-70minutes what i have played

Enter the following into the launch options for TF2:

-windowed -noborder

Using the -noborder option basically makes the game look exactly like it normally would in full screen, but the -windowed option should solve the issue of it tabbing out.

I had random minimizing with other games tho, but they were like one to 3 times in a days session... IDK about my TF2 (havent noticed, as I played once since I've been hearing the issue), but I am guessing that TF2 has it worse as it minimizes more frequently? I dont think we should completely remove Steam from our suspects for this issue, maybe even Windows, as even Google Chrome randomly minimised on me once lol.
