ping limit in casual servers
i m from asia but tf2 is not letting me join in luxemburg server. only letting me join singapore, hongkong servers. at this time of night asia servers r almost empty, luxemburg server full of players now and it shows in matchmaking settings too. so its hard to find a match in asia servers right now, almost impossible. only if tf2 would let me join luxemburg like before then i could finish my contract. i have set my ping limit auto. still it is not letting me join luxemburg. i get around 150-160 ping only in eu servers. i dont know what is going on. tf2 used to let me join in luxemburg almost a year ago. i dont know what happened :(

Instead of setting the ping limit to auto, try setting the ping limit to a higher value. The automatic ping limit is probably restricting you from going into servers with what the game thinks is an unreasonable ping. Just manually set the limit to around 160-170 and you "should" be fine.

i have tried that also, no result, thts why i set it to auto after. i m only getting matched up in singapore.

my point is why they would restrict other region players from playing in another region. if u look into paladins, that game allow any player into any region.

You could join community servers with players, but you won't be able to do contracts.

I understand what you're getting at and I think it's a weird restriction too, but it's probably put into place for a reason.

I'm unaware of any possible solutions other than for you to keep trying to queue into Luxembourg servers. A streak of bad luck might just be why you can no longer queue into them anymore.

That's why I included the "But you won't be able to do contracts", it's my understanding of your problem and me telling you that you're going to have to give it up to get entertainment.

It's either "I'm not able to play casual and do the contracts"

or

"I'm able to play the game but can't do contracts"

No matter what road you take, you're not going to have an experience to your avail.
