Got killstreak weapon but can't craft spec killstreak kit

I usually play MvM (two cities). Today I decided to start crafting all my spec kits in order to get some money. So I had all the parts except for the unique killstreak weapon. Firstly I bought in the community market a strange killstreak apoco-fists and then realized they didn't worked. But then I bought two unique killstreak weapons ( 30 and 31 cents) for the craft. The problem is that when I go to craft the kit, the weapons won't be aviable to use in the craft. I checked multiple times if they are usable they seem to be, as there is no (Not usable in crafting) in desc.
Maybe it is because of the 1 week cooldown you get on the items you buy in the Steam CM.
Any idea?

I think the problem is that you had bought a strange quality weapon to use as the base for the fabricator recipe, whereas the recipe demands a UNIQUE weapon with a lower quality kill-steak kit applied to it. Hence why you can't create killstreak kits out of fabricators with stranges as the foundation part.

UNIQUE in itself is just the standard yellow rarity yielded in drops etc.

That is not the problem, as you can't apply the strange for the base of a spec kit. The problem is that I can't apply the weapons I have, when I should

Click the 'show untradable items' box above the usable robotparts

Altho the kit wont be immediately tradeable (when untrdable items are applied to it) , it will be once the hold expires

Your killstreak direct hit is not yet tradeable, but you have not ticked the 'show untradeable items" box in the fabricator.

Im having the same problem with my killstreak items and tried evreything you tried and still wont show what should i do?

If the item can be used in crafting and traded, or it can't be traded and you checked the box and it still doesn't show up I don't really know...
If you are crafting a pro killstreak remember you need spec killstreak weapons. Open a new thread if you can't fix it, maybe someone else knows

Why are the killstreak weapons I'm buying have the "not useable in crafting" thing? I can't craft up my spec's because of this.
