Why do so many furries play TF2?

Ever since I returned to TF2 (April) one thing I noticed is that a lot of furries play TF2 now. Why is this? I know some people are gonna say "because it's fun" (which is true), but games like CS:GO and Payday 2 have almost no furries on them?

It's community is pretty toxic, and I know that it's free, but other games that are free (such as Unturned) don't really have furries in their game.

Its easy to play and run and gets more variety then most free to play games
