How do I play the halloween maps???

This isn't a technichal issue of the maps not showing up, but rather I would like to know what I need to know about Scream Fortress maps (featured) this year, as I have no idea how they're supposed to be played, or even what button I use for spells (I completely rebound all of my essential keys to a custom layout, so I have no idea what command used to be bound the h key). I also have no idea what spells do what, why my frames drop to 43, when they normally hover around 90, what "the underworld" is, what happens when I kill the headless horseman/monoculus, why skeletons spawn at random, or basically anything that isn't a part of the core of TF2. If someone could link me a guide or something going into depth about everything, or most things I asked about here, that would be awesome, as almost all other game modes are completely empty when compared to before the update. Also, I'm not exactly new, as I have been playing on and off since May and I'm usually pretty good in casual most of the time, and I've been playing source games and have a decent level of knowledge of console commands and what most options do what, so you don't have to link me to something for people who literally just picked up the game and have never played anything beyond a few mobile games in their life.

It's almost completely devoid of any useful information, and I still have no idea what key I need to change to use spells

The button to use spell is in the option it called “use item in action slot” you need to equip spellbook magazines to use the spell
