Team Fortress 2
How would you describe TF2's culture and unspoken rules to new players?
Hey guys, I decided to write another guide. This one will be about the current culture, stereotypes, and expectations that new players will encounter in this game. I figured passing on this kind of knowledge to newer players would be a good way to keep the TF2 community alive! I have already written a good bit on things like High Tower, friendlies, taunt kill etiquet, and melee fights. Is there any info or unoficial rules that you would want passed on to new players?

Haha, one of the things that I wrote about was what the vote kick system was NOT for. Hopefully it will be clear enough for them.

don't cap on hightower, don't cap on 2fort unless it's a serious match, don't kill friendlies unless they try to taunt kill you or hurt you, do the objective in serious settings, you're sterotyped to be the noob of TF2 so don't get mad if people kill you a lot

I have never heard about the 2fort one, I see people playing the objective most of the time. I didn’t know that one existed!

I use the eyelander over the other swords. I even have a festive one

This game makes no sense. It will never make sense. You will die out of nowhere and have to deal with millions of new mechanics. Enemies will destroy you. You will be dominated. Nobody will go easy on you and only a few generous souls will teach you. It will be a hard and arduous journey, but at the end, you will master this game. It is not for the faint of heart. Are you Mann enough? Yes? Good luck.

Ok that sounded WAY too dark souls
