Autobalance has it's major problems, but seperating parties isn't one of them.
its just annoying when you want to play with your friends and for example build a sentry at the enemys intel and then you just get autobalanced and have to destroy the stuff you helped to build. i personally dont like to kill my friends and if i get into a party with them i want to play WITH them not against them. another great thing of autobalance is that you get moved into the other team 1 second before your team would win. i love it.
When it was returned:
*players complain*
Pick one already, you want it gone or not?
He wants autobalance to stay, but being immune to it.

Impossible it’s auto balance it automatically balance team size
Whats wrong with the opportunity to choose if you want to be balanced? Or just disable it if you play with friends? Is it entitlement if you want to play with your friends? I dont think so.
What's wrong is that you want a special treatment without giving a damn about team balance.
Again, you're implying that this doesn't exist with people who are not steam friends, and are just 2 players coming together in a sense of teamwork.
Well consider it your lucky day to be able to frag them instead of help them.
Once again, this doesn't magically change if you're in a party, or just another player who had good synergy with another on your team.
As I already said, we're fully aware of the issues with Auto-balance.
I took the sentry thing as an example and where did i write those things dont exist for random people who play without their friends? its just a more common thing that you play with your friends and get autobalanced than finding a random teammate you really enjoy playing with. so as this both can be the case why cant we choose if we get balanced then? we play the game so it should be the players choice if he wants to give up all the work he invested (or stay in this team because of friends for example ;P ) to go in the other team which will loose in a few seconds.
