Tbh I hate it, I know it’s a part of trading but I’ll be like “Selling a 12-Key unusual for 10 keys” then someone will ask “can you do eight?”
go to backpack.tf and go to the taunt and effect you want, then notice how many exist compared to about 6-8 months ago.
Trade bots are really frauds and deserve to get ban for putting such a offer.
I mean if Community market i can understand
1-2 key difference also is fine but 10 keys that is 60 keys less comapred to actual price is pretty messed up and cannot be justified
It is BS setting own buy order price like this
Because people know that Backpack.tf hasn't updated their prices and that they're tanking. So no one is going to be stupid enough to ask for them at that particular price.
Supply is exceeding demand
That particular item has double in how many exist thanks to that change. People are trying to put them up in the Classified as 22-35 keys.
since you can only do a taunt and nothing else, the actual desire to use a taunt is minimal and only really for flexing on casual peasents with less items then you (which isnt cool lmao)
they are nice to look at for liek a few seconds but they then get stale and then you just start to see a desperate player trying to accept his ♥♥♥♥♥♥ unusual.
Dude those are bots.
Those are safeguards so the bots never overvalue those items.
You could literally search -any item- on backpack.tf, even items that don't technically exist and you're going to find these low automatic buy orders. Because the person who set those prices for that bot can rest assured that if their bot does catch an order for those items they won't regret it.
