When I get autobalanced, I usually leave the server

I work hard for making my team win, being autobalanced (some times even in the middle of the action with the on-screen MS Paint style phrase) and forced in the losing team is just unfunny. So, when I get autobalanced I lose all the interest in the match, and I requeue for another server. Result? My true team loses a player, I can't have fun and the team I get autobalanced in has still one player less than the other.

Autobalance works though. If everyone just left due to the autobalance, the teams would be evenly balanced. A perfectly balanced game has 0 players on each team, and by forcing people to leave by balancing them it achieves greater balance.
So in other words, just leave on autobalance. You are doing the best possible thing for overall balance of the game.

same, but for the reason that by the time ab kicks in, the server is likely already ruined by quitters and you're left playing 7v7 payload with no backfill, and it's boring as ♥♥♥♥
while the losing team continues to get stomped thanks to being populated entirely by deadweights, something ab neither considers to be a problem nor has any way of addressing

valve needs to fix some issues with autobalance

You can avoid autobalance by typing “retry” in console (without the quotations). You’ll lose all the points you earned, but you’ll still be able to play for your team.
