No, not as far as I know, nor the TF2 Wiki. Probably because it already *is* a neon-sign, adding more festive lights to it would be a bit overkill
Keep in mind that this was partially a promotional item for Sleeping Dogs, so any reason against these things could very well be because of Activision. They would probably have a foot in deciding these things surrounding the weapon.
Fair enough. But how would you festivize this weapon?
That's actually very cleverly thought out. But it doesn't really spontaneously combust. I thought it was more the electrocution that was a lethal critical in this case.
I still think, despite the logic, that it could be a very neat festivized weapon with these elements in mind. You could have small scraps of wrapping stuck to the head that kept burning as long as you hold it.
We may have to ask Activision though.
